Greetings fellow Roleplayers,
We'd like to inform the community of a project Orenthil and myself started recently over at the official forums. It came to our knowledge that there was not a dedicated channel for roleplayers, thus we took the honors to set one up with Orenthil.
The channel is ment to be a cozy place for us like minded people to chat
with each other and in the future it will serve as a place for us to plan our own unofficial in-game events depending on how the official events take roleplayers into count.
We also have our own channel mistress, though she is a bot we do love her. The bot supports commands for RSS newsfeed for TCoS related news and several more or less standard functions. We are also planning a "storytelling" feature that is open every Friday for us roleplayers' pleasure, the feature is currently being discussed. Feel free to join in!

TCoS provides her community with a compilation of basic IRC information which can be found HERE.
PS: Unfortunately the channel's general purpose is not for in character chatting, but we might hold roleplaying evenings depending on the demand.

Welcome to the site, Rya!
And for everyone else, this IRC is quite a nice place. You should check it out and have a chat w/ some of the people who will be RP'ing in TCoS.

Welcome and thanks for sharing that with us. It sounds like a place I would love to hang out. I will join in on the fun once I get my &#^$!@ internet connection at home. Especially story telling Fridays sound like can't miss events.

As it sates we are currently discussing about the implentation of this feature and we will hope to get a conclusion about it in the near future :)

By the sounds of it, some people would enjoy it. I can see how it would be a fun event. You should come to a conclusion about it in the very near future. Yep.

Yep. You have already at least two votes for implementing it. I need stories! I have been RP-ing in City of Heroes and Anarchy Online, which are both set in a modern/futuristic setting. Which makes it in my eyes much easier to RP. Now I need inspiration for a much more strict fantasy world. Although I have read my share of fantasy novels, it will be hard to have a original background story. Most fantasy heroes are either farmer anti-heroes or nobility. Maybe I should read up on my Tanith Lee collection again ...
