A hoppy huh? Hmm... One hoppy looks sadistically annoying. I can't imagine what a herd? flock? whatever, I can't imagine what a bunch of them would do to my sanity.

My roleplaying character has just decided that hoppies are the reason he lives.

You could name him/her Tenn of the Hoppies. Kinda sounds like you know, 9 of the hoppies is not quite as good as 10, but then 11 of the hoppies would be better.
So why are they the reason he lives? Did they save him from a terrible death at the fangs of a wolf? Or is it that he's got a grudge against them for the death of his love? Come on, fill us in. :)

I kinda get the impression that they are neither good nor bad, but the poor unfortunate local wildlife that every John, Jack, Jane, and Joe lowbie adventurer slays in the pursuit of the mystical "next level." You know, much like the Elpy of Lineage 2. I dunno, maybe I'm wrong... I hope I'm wrong...for the hoppie's sake. :)

I think they will going to be annoyingly cute and good. They pop up at the most oppertune moments and give you high moral support. And start saying things like "Good work, Phe. Your father would be proud", "Keep up the good work, brave soldier" and "Keep going! I know you can do it". And of course they hoppie away before you can kill them.

Actually I'm with the "kill" group on this one.
There is cute (my kitten is cute) and there is annoyingly cute. That, that, THING falls into the latter catagory.

I just don't get the "annoyingly cute" thingy. But then I have to deal with the "World's Cutest Puppy" on a daily basis, so maybe I've become immune to the cute some.
